What is the TFI™ test?
The Test de Français International (TFI™) is a French language proficiency test for non-native speakers. The TFI test measures and certifies the French skills of those using the language in a professional context, and gauges their skills from beginner to advanced levels. A professional working in an international company and required to demonstrate his or her French language skills can use this reliable and valid certification to achieve that objective.
The TFI test is globally recognised as a reliable assessment of business French, and is used by a variety of organisations and educational institutions as a recruitment or certification tool, respectively. TFI test users include
· HR managers and recruiters who use the score to make recruitment, employee mobility and training decisions. Companies sometimes use TFI scores to define minimum language requirements for specific jobs.
· Teachers and academic institutions who use the TFI test to certify the level of French attained by students following a language course; some institutions require a TFI minimum score as part of their admission or graduation criteria.
· Language schools who use the test as a certification at the end of language courses, and as an objective tool to measure progress made in language learning. They can also use it to assess incoming students and group them homogeneously.
· Students and professionals who take the TFI test to validate their French skills and to enhance their CVs.
